Features

Fiscal and NTAK

Opening the business day in the morning, running the daily close at night and checking whether NTAK reports went through: all of that is part of this item. Below is what the software lets you configure and which report statuses you can see (such as pending or submitted). Legal e-cash registers (e-pénztárgép) and restaurant software have different roles, see the FAQ; whether anything is officially certified is not answered here. Report status can be followed once the store is online and has finished syncing; formal NTAK reporting while offline is not promised. Capability overview: Features. Checkout and receipt boundaries: Checkout, payments and receipts.

What is included

This item covers: opening the business day, cash in/out, cash reports and daily close; fiscal receipt handling and recovery; NTAK reporting, status, correction and voiding.

In the back office you can see:

On the till, the fiscal settings have Open day, and the orders screen has Cash report and Daily close. The image below was taken in a test environment with the fiscal device disconnected; actual tickets and day-opening results depend on the store's fiscal device and settings.

Fiscal tickets and recovery

The back office has no ordinary “one-click formal re-report” button. “Send to fiscal” is only a setting; switching it on does not mean a ticket was issued. The till can configure and preview the sales-receipt template.

NTAK visibility

In the back office you can view the NTAK settings and the status of report records (pending, submitted and so on), and follow up with refresh, batch confirmation and historical re-evaluation. How correction (HELYESBITO) and voiding (SZTORNO) are handled depends on what your store has actually enabled.

Concept boundary

Legal terms such as NTAK, pénztárgép, fiscal tickets versus ordinary receipts, and report status are explained in the FAQ.

What to check before you choose

Good fit / less of a fit

Good fit: Restaurants in Hungary that want to see NTAK report status in one back office and follow up pending records day by day.

Less of a fit: Stores that want the software to replace a legal e-cash register; purchasing processes that require certification or a compliance guarantee from the software vendor.

Common selection questions

Can restaurant software replace a legal e-cash register (e-pénztárgép)? No. They have different roles: restaurant software handles configuration and lets you see report status (such as pending or submitted). For terms and roles, see the FAQ.

Does using this software mean NTAK or official certification, or a compliance guarantee? No. Official certification is not covered here, and no compliance guarantee is offered. If your purchasing process requires certification or a compliance guarantee from the software vendor, this information cannot serve as that evidence.

How it fits into a store day

  1. When you open in the morning, run Open day at the till before taking the first order.
  2. After the lunch rush, refresh today's NTAK report records once in the back office and see whether pending ones are piling up.
  3. If the network was down for a while, wait until you are back online and syncing has finished, then check report status again.
  4. At closing, print the cash report and run the daily close.
